This day trip is designed to cover Jogjakarta City and its surrounding in one day. Situated on the fertile plains of South Central Java and surrounded by ancient ruins, once the seat of a mighty Javanese empire. Within the city, Javanese theater, dance, music, painting, sculpture and crafts provide a charm, which seldom fails to captivate the visitor.

Early in the morning, you’ll be transferred to the airport for first flight to Yogyakarta, then on arrival at Adisucipto Airport of Jogjakarta, your guide will meet you, and take you directly to Borobudur temple passing through the stone sculpture area of Muntilan. Borobudur temple is the greatest of all Indonesian monuments, around 1200 years old, this is the world’s largest Buddhist monument. Over the centuries it became buried under jungle growth and volcanic ash. A massive restoration project has delivered Borobudur to its former glory. After we visit the nearby Mendut and Pawon temple, we return to the city for lunch at local restaurant.

Taman Sari Water Castle, also known as Taman Sari (Javanese: ꦠꦩꦤ꧀ ꦱꦫꦶ), is the site of a former royal garden of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta and local transplantation

Finally return to airport for return flight to Denpasar – Bali. Transfer from airport to hotel is included.
